There is a lot of work to be done!
“It’s like a man riding a lion. People think, ‘This guy’s brave.’ And he’s thinking, ‘How the hell did I get on a lion, and how do I keep from getting eaten?”
I read this interesting article about the psychological price of entrepreneurship that I though brought up a few good points that people don’t think about when going into business of their own. I’m sure Bradley Smith (the protagonist of the mentioned link) did not think much about this before starting his own company. “By all counts and measures, Bradley Smith is an unequivocal business success. He’s CEO of Rescue One Financial, an Irvine, California-based financial services company that had sales of nearly $32 million last year. Smith’s company has grown some 1,400 percent in the last three years, landing it at No. 310 on this year’s Inc. 500. So you might never guess that just five years ago, Smith was on the brink of financial ruin–and mental collapse.”
If you are already in it. There is only one way forward, and you will need all the inspirational you can get.
